The intial thrust of
the restoration process included changing a dangerous and dysfunctional 32 v system to a
new 12 v system (24 v for the starter motor and windlass motor), rewiring the 110 v
system, replumbing, rebuilding of all the houses, refastening the hull where necessary,
reinstalling all the joinery that had been removed, and many, many other things too
